Changes!

Hello!

As you noticed, my Blog has taken on a different name!  Starting this fall, I will be in a new House-the iHouse!  I will have the blessing of adding Social Studies to my assignment!  Change always brings a mixture of feelings and creates a roller coaster of emotions, but education is change!

I look forward to new opportunities, adventures, and like my students at, I will also be achieving, learning, creating, and growing in the 2016-17 school year!

On Demand and Blue Cake!

Today Nelson House Students did their On-Demand!  We also enjoyed a piece of blue cake because our writing has become skilled and scholarly and we have nothing to be BLUE over!

Still Staying Focused and Loving Class!

Book Buddies-Good Bye to You!

       Today was the last day for Block 1 and Block 3 to walk to Forest Glen!  We are definitely going to miss them!   We hope they have a relaxing summer and become creative, fantastic, and successful 2nd Graders.

Cat's Cradle

Today in Writing, we learned how to play Cat's Cradle as an extension of our Writing Unit-Informative Writing-Westward Expansion!  String games, hoop games, and marble games oh my!
